Christmas All Wrapped Up

2025 saw the launch of Lay & Wheeler’s Christmas Wrapped Up campaign, in which we celebrated togetherness, seasonal nostalgia and of course, delicious wine.


Starting with ‘The Wines that Made Christmas’ we collaborated with wine expert, writer and broadcaster Guy Woodward to delve into the archives and find out what people really drank in Christmases past, from 1854 when we were founded, through the 1920s, the big wines of the 70s and 80s, up to today’s seasonal favourites.


‘Christmas Lunch with Lay & Wheeler’ saw our team reveal their top tips for Christmas drinking, sharing advice and insider knowledge on food pairing, and revealing which bottles they’d be opening on the 25th.


We also collaborated with well-loved influencer Dinner by Ben, who paired some of our range with a wonderful-looking Beef Wellington via Instagram, and Partner in Wine’s Lucy Hitchock, who talked about why Our Collection range is the ultimate starting point for wine discovery.
