Biondi-Santi

It’s hard to mention Montalcino without thinking of Biondi-Santi. They remain the benchmark for traditional Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino: no surprise, it was this estate that has been labelled the founder of Brunello, and Franco Biondi-Santi was, until his death a few years ago, one of the region’s most respected men. The estate is now run by his son, Jacopo Biondi-Santi, and maintains its position at the pinnacle of the region’s wines.
