Taillepieds is generally considered to be de Montille's best wine from this commune, producing fine, tannic wines that age brilliantly. There is really impressive depth to this wine, natural acidity framing stunning dark fruit and spice. Quite tight at present, I suspect this will be one of the more long-lived wines of 2013.
