2019 Meursault Les Clousots, Patrick Javillier
This cuvée is a blend of two parcels: predominantly the hillside vineyard Les Clous, with a touch of Les Crotots lower down, which sits just next to Poruzots. Marion explained how the styles of the two parcels always complement each other. In 2019 it is smooth and complete, and it is a great shame volumes are down due to frost. No new oak is used here; this wine is all about pure fruit expression, with wonderful texture.
