2013 Tignanello, Antinori, Tuscany

From a single vineyard in the Chianti Classico region, 2013 has given a Tignanello of real refinement and breeding: a wine that will surely take its place as one of the finest examples of recent years. Lift on the nose, with purity of fruit and a classic Sangiovese character, the palate is juicy, complex and very long. A wine with a superb future, when compared to its peers the price of the Tignanello seems all the better.

97/100 – James Suckling, jamessuckling.com

Amazing on the nose with blackberry, black truffle, dried cherry and hints of tobacco. So complex on the nose. Almost no need to taste it. Full body, soft and velvety tannins, and a persistent, fabulous finish. The mouthfeel is magic.
