A totally charming Monprivato, the nose itself is beguiling with classic notes of wild strawberry, rose petal, aniseed and liquorice. There is a seamlessness and silkiness to the tannins that is a real hallmark of the vintage. So much finesse with layers of complexity underpinning a fine, saline and mineral core. While it can be approached in the coming years, it is a wine that will repay patience.
