Sourced from Kumeu River’s most recently acquired (in 2017) vineyard site on the limestone soils of Hawke’s Bay, Ray’s Road is textural, fragrant and concentrated. The wine’s flinty core is perfectly complemented by lemon, lime and white stone fruit notes, while careful use of (used) French oak lends a density to this wine that we’ve not previously seen.
